These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the website operated under the designation "VibeVote" (the "Website"), its publicly accessible presentation pages, and, where made available, access to the associated VibeVote web application (the "Web App").

The Website serves to present the VibeVote project, provide information on the project background, and make public access points available to interested users. To the extent the Web App is accessible, its use shall likewise be subject to these Terms unless and until separate product-specific terms are expressly introduced.

According to the information currently made available, VibeVote is presented in the context of a student project associated with SFZ Eningen and not as a fully launched commercial service.

Features, functionalities, availability, pricing, and the legal framework applicable to any future live platform offering may change as the project develops. Mere access to the Website or Web App does not constitute any entitlement to future services, functionalities, or commercial offerings.

Should VibeVote later be launched as an operational service under a distinct service model, separate product-specific terms may apply in addition to or in replacement of these Terms and Conditions.

Where user accounts are made available, the information currently required for account creation and access is limited to a username and an email address.

This information is processed through Better Auth for the purposes of secure authentication, access control, and account administration. Additional profile data is not required unless future platform functions expressly provide otherwise.

Users shall ensure that the information provided for registration is accurate and shall refrain from any use of accounts or access credentials that is misleading, unauthorized, or abusive.

The Website and, where applicable, the Web App may be used solely for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not impair their availability, security, integrity, or intended presentation.

Users are prohibited from misusing contact forms, technical interfaces, public access points, or any other functionality provided. In particular, any use intended to disrupt operations, circumvent security measures, gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the intended functionality or presentation is prohibited.

The operator reserves the right to modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue the Website, the Web App, individual functions, or access options at any time, in whole or in part, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Access may be restricted or suspended where this is required for technical reasons, maintenance, security, abuse prevention, or the protection of the Website, the Web App, and their respective users.

All texts, designs, branding elements, software-related content, and other project materials made available on the Website or within the Web App are protected by applicable intellectual property law unless expressly stated otherwise.

Any reproduction, adaptation, distribution, public communication, or other use outside the limits permitted by law requires the prior written consent of the respective rights holder.

The content of the Website and, where applicable, the Web App is prepared and operated with due care. Nevertheless, no representation or warranty is made that the information provided is complete, accurate, uninterrupted, or up to date at all times.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for damages arising solely from reliance on informational content or from temporary unavailability is excluded. Mandatory statutory liability, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, shall remain unaffected.

If official operating terms for a later live VibeVote platform are introduced, these Terms and Conditions may be replaced, supplemented, or amended accordingly.

Any such future terms shall apply only within their respective scope and upon their publication or other valid incorporation.
